@RVhypertrophy I think, for the most part, they’re taking the piss, but the flames were probably there as a bit of extra fun for the live show, as opposed to mockery.
I love bands that teeter on the edge of mockery and self-parody though. Music shouldn’t be so serious all the time!
@ifutureman It’s their song. They can chop whatever they want out. I noticed it too. I think they’re just mixing it up, doing something unexpected so they don’t get bored.

My friend gave me a copy of this album, and it has the version of Hash Pipe that they play in this video. I suppose he just downloaded the wrong one, then.
@TheStanfordWhite To be specific: in this video at 1:19, they end the first chorus without including the lines “You got your big G’s, I got my hashpipe”. Then, at 2:12, they end the second chorus and omit the extra 2 measures where he repeats the line “I got my hashpipe” over a G-chord. And at 3:03, they make the same omission as they did in the second chorus. All of that stuff is on the album version, which they used for the “Hash Pipe” video. They shouldn’t have chopped bits out.
