@theredreceivers While Burndt Jamb is one of my favorites of theirs, I for one am really glad they DIDN’T become a jam band. Rivers is too much of a pop genius to be doing simple jam music.

I agree! It seems like (in my opinion) they lost it after Maladroit. I didn’t think the next 2 albums were that bad, but nothing special. After the red album though. I just decided to stick with weezer – maladroit.

Burndt Jamb could have been the beginning of a different direction for weezer, more jam based. I love the funky guitar, sorta john frusciante sounding. One of my fav songs from them. Maladroit is their most underrated album in my opinion.
