@MrCutemunda based on what i understand, she didnt eat the hand due to starvation, she did it due to hysteria. Due to hypertension she became some sort of mad person..

anyway if it ryt, then my hypothesis of wat wud hav been happen.
she took help of her family (by calling using mobile) or her room-mate or other friends. and get a fake hand, pretend to it, and scared the seniors. seniors were so scared, they didn’t bother to check the hand is real or fake. and nobody tried to mesh with her later.

locking her for few hrs (2 or 3) wud be enof punishment for her cheap attitude. but using dead person body for such acts is shameless, u sud nt be so dis-respectful to an unknown dead person.
